This is actually for Macker. I saw the address of the bank. So here is a tip. Almost as good as stock tip. My wife just came back from a craft fair and brought me some hand dipped chocolate covered apricots and turtles from Carol Ann's candies in Hebron. I don't know how big the town is or if you like this stuff but you might want to stop by. Very good. Small world.

Although I've lurked around SI since 96, more out of curiosity back then than anything else, I'm still very much an amateur at investing, and completely new to pennies. Maybe that is why I am so amazed with this thread. The level of respect, humility, knowledge, excitement, and commitment are all excellent. The record on some of these stocks that are discussed (INFE, DGIV, ICVI) are outrageous. And the strategizing to keep the MM's in there place is, well... I've gotta a lot I want to learn. My only complaint is that I don't have more cash. (Although 5000 shares is not bad for a college kid!) Well, that and that it's hard to find the time to do my schoolwork with all this stuff going on. Macker, Mr. D, et al, you're educating me and I'm sure many other silent readers as well, that in itself is a charity. If somebody has the time to answer some simple questions: -I understand what DD is, but what does it stand for? -I have the gist of how controlling the float drives the price up, but I'd appreciate a specific explanation. -This internet-bonding/unity thing seems like an enormously powerful tool against MM's, but I had never seen such a strong example of it before... is that completely because I'm new to pennies, or are INFE, etc, exceptional examples? and how long has this been going on? -Do you think my college education is in good hands? (just kidding) Mr. D- I knew this group had to have a guardian angel, I just didn't know who it was. I'm sure she was a wonderful lady. and Macker- I haven't realized much gains yet, but charity is always a good thing. What good is money without it.
