Hi, N.O........Yep, that was a typo. I will not hold it against Jeff if the company hits my number, and not his. He really has no way to know, given the MOT relationship. When the elephants dance, the mice need to run for cover.

We should all remember that the Korean and Japanese handset mfgs. will source their displays only from their own company (or Keiretsu). They all have display manufacturing companies, such as Samsung, in Korea, for the CDMA handsets. We are not going to get into those markets. And, their drive to take share from us in the rest of the world is aided by their currency devaluation(s), and the concomitant need to export to get hard currency to repay dollar-denominated debt.

But, the handset market, on a macro basis, will grow. Whether MOT will maintain share, I do not know. Whether TFS will maintain its supplier status with MOT, I do not know.

Part of the answer may be located in the 300 pages of archived articles I have downloaded from www.rcrnews.com

I am looking at the handset market, because in a significant degree, this is what it comes down to for TFS, at the margin.

Man, we need some more customers. Not to get rid of this one.....just get some more to leaven out the mix. I fear the tendency in business for pushouts to lead to cancellations or reductions in scope. People like to keep their options open, and this is one way. Not saying that is what is occurring here. I AM saying I now have to spend precious time studying the handset market, to be sure I have a company with the wheels on next year. TFS does not control its own destiny, so long as MOT is 50% of revenues. Period. Not good for ANYBODY, management or shareholder. One may interpret the following in two ways <GGG>:

"Motorola, where would we be without them ???"
