Maxwell,

Tom never claimed that Cyrix 6x86-PR200+ was the world fastest x86 processor. However, he was in a rush to announce by saying that PMMX-200 "is faster than 6x86-PR200" and "is the world fastest x86 processor when Intel released PMMX-200.

You should get a clear picture on his personality and creditability from all these staff.

Like I've said...Tom went over to the dark side after Intel "convinced" him when he got those pre-release Klamaths a couple of years ago.
If AMD can make them...the gamers will buy.
I've noticed a number of adds for K6's have been pulled off pricewatch. I suspect their servers have been totally swamped and the same for their phone lines.
Anyone know what % of pentium IIs were bought by gamers?
Or care to venture a guess.
Jim
