Just a couple of observations and rhetorical questions from one who has been humbled by Intel, and is long at 71 7/16:

a. The bitterness, acrimony, name calling etc appear to increase as the share price goes down in the Silicon Investor forum.

b. When is the best time to buy Intel? Is it when everybody is happy, ie when things look best (and near a top)? Or is it a great idea to buy a super company when everyone has a dismal outlook on its future and things look worst? (Please keep in mind that we are talking about quality "super-companies" not the marginal ones, and we all know which ones they are).

Of course the longs get uncomfortable when things don't continue in a north easterly direction, and the bears begin to come out of hibernation to stir things up and make a couple of dollars.

In my opinion, the right time to buy is now, not after Intel has had a huge run up and things look rosey.

Best wishes to all,

it
