No. The jury is still out about how the four, not six as reported, died while on viagra. It was most likely a problem of mixing drugs and not viagra alone.

Did you hear that a millionare guy in Ny dumped his common lay--oops i mean law--wife of 12 years due to viagra. The lady claims that after, i think 4 years of him being impotent, he took viagra and they successfully made love. the day after he told her he was leaving her for another woman. I heard in on ABC radio news.

A quote from Michael Murphy's "Every Investor's
Guide to High Tech Stocks & Mutual Funds".

"The mark up from Phase III to functioning
pharmaceutical co. with approved products is even
larger. These co's have an average market cap. of
$3 billion. So investors average a 10-1 return from
Phase III to an approved, successful drug.

"The two reasons the markup is so large are, first,
because there are many investors that will not or, by
prospectus, cannot buy development-stage, unprofitable
companies. They jump on when the profits start to flow.
Second, the pharmaceutical business is extremely
profitable and not cyclical........"

I would like to see $25.00 this summer, but what
I am looking forward to, ( in spite of the day to day
disappointments ) is what I expect LGND to be worth
in five years. when I turn 59 1/2 and can tap my IRA.

Good luck to all, go Ligand; TomOrt
