Could you share your inspiration with us, clueless?
I see the only "clue" about Merced: the cludgy,
clumsy and sluggish architecture. Eclectic and
wrong combination of old ideas. Given a presumably
successful state of the 0.18u technology at Intel
(as all you "experts" agree here), the
"manufacturing" excuse is just a confirmation of
Merced's architectural problems.
