Monopros hasnt earned diddly squat to date in MPV. You can be sure that until their 51% is initially vested, they will concentrate on MPV. They have 4 pipes going to major bulk and a highly prospective central AK . My strong hunch is that ,for now, DeBeers will focus on MPV with tunnel vision. On another topic, anybody ever wonder why DeBeers is so interested in the NWT and Canada in genera (aside from the fact that it is host to world class diamonds). Could it be that the business environment for monopolies in South Africa is becoming a bit more difficult due to changing government attitudes? This may have a lot to do with DeBeers desiring some serious diversification away from South Africa and into a relatively safe and stable country. I dont have specific details of this strategy, but rather just subtlle hints.
