Ron and Charles: Who produces catalytic converters?? Maybe they should dump the stock! This news may also bring the price of palladium down to reasonable levels. Regards, Carl

Ron, you must get with the times. It isn't trendy to be pushing a new ice age, we must be working the green house effect.

The way diesel particulates do the green house thing is by being at very low levels in the atmosphere and acting like little black bodies. By that I mean the little particles of soot absorb the sun's heat, not reflect it as if they were high above the earth and having reflective surfaces. The fact that diesel particulates are utterly insignificant relative to the general amount of dust in the air is immaterial to the issue --- the same sort of issue as the amount of pollution produced by a GRNO plant compared to a normal sized oil refinery.

Charles

P. S. Need I point out that not only do those moo cows produce all that methane, they have to go and make nitrous oxide as well. I think I may look into starting a factory to produce agricultural corks. No, maybe a catalytic converter as a sort of bovine after burner. Hey, how about a personal thermal oxidizer for Bossy?

Now I know what y'all must be thinking, but I'm completely sober, darn it.
