Hi Jim:

Good post back at you! I think one of the benefits of the trading diary I publish live every day is this: I call my trades well in advance. I know what the setups are, what the entry is, when and how. I publish these setups the night before, usually. My exits are normally forecast 10-30 minutes beforehand. I almost always get out on a tightening stop (when the trades are positive ... I'm talking daytrades here ... position trading is another thing).

The discipline necessary to "call" my trades like that, and to follow through with them, is probably the single most important "secret" to my continued success as a Spoos trader. It forces me to do a lot of planning and thinking long before I pull the trigger.

The added "responsibility" of well over 100 highly-critical subscribers watching every move adds to the necessity of being honest about the whole process.

It's a lot of work. But it does work :o)
