Stan: A good call by me? Heck, it was a frigging great call! Even reiterated it at beer Wednesday night with some threaders. Now..... ask me why I didn't own a single share or option. Grrrrrrrr............ I bailed a couple of days beforehand, waiting until guys stopped croaking after taking "V" to get back in. I also bailed from MOGN at 9 a few days before it went to 437, or whatever it was. Too smart for my own good of late. Reporters, analysts, **biotech newsletter editors that are frequently quoted in Business Week, Newsweek, etc. and that can't make good on their own picks and insight**, etc....... check the timing of this one too.......techstocks.com At least I was holding some near-the-money calls for that one. And, BTW.... I wasn't presuming that the suitor would be DuPont, just that the birth of DuPont Pharma and the cash transferred to MRK would be the spark that forced others to move. What really ticks me off? I sat down with the "party" at H&Q this year and told him how to access SI. :-( So.... how long will it take the magazine editors to realize that the stuff is published at SI before it hits their pages? Lots of the stuff at thestreet.com also originates from SI. We're making these lurkers look good. BTW... I take it, from talking with PB and others, that most biotech freaks don't follow what Ray Cunningham is doing in the "Charts for Quick Cash" thread. The guy has talent, and is doing something that the world needs. There was one point, a few months ago, where everything we picked was popping 15-20% within a few days. It was spooky. Then, I started picking for ASCO, and I'd just as soon forget that. :-) Cheers! Rick
