The airline industry has been testing SV-35 for some time now Wednesday, September 24, 1997 Received Second Critical Report Napier is pleased to announce that Scientific Material International Inc. of Miami, Florida, a recognized facility for the aerospace industry, has delivered a second critical report confirming that Napier's SV-35 aviation paint stripper "conforms with Boeing DG-17487, Revision L, Table 1 requirements for paint stripping". Napier recently announced that the SV-35 also passed all McDonnell Douglas CSD#1 Specs for removing paint from aluminum surfaces and high-strength steel components. In addition to the obvious advantages of being environmentally safe and user friendly (it is no longer necessary for workers to use protective clothing and breathing apparatus), SV-35's unique formulation actually lifts the paint by destabilizing the bond and releasing the paint, leaving the entire substrate, including rivets, perfectly clean. With the paint lifting in sheets that remain solid, recovery and clean up is greatly simplified and costs are dramatically reduced. Now that Napier's SV-35 conforms to both McDonnell Douglas and Boeing Specs the company will begin an international launch of our SV-35 into the very large aerospace depainting industry. Management has entered into negotiations with several distributors who were awaiting these very positive results from SMI. We anticipate a successful conclusion from these negotiations in the near future. Napier International is a young chemical company located in Surrey, B.C., Canada that trades on both the Toronto and Vancouver Stock Exchanges. Napier continues to market and develop products for the forestry, sign stripping, auto, marine and aerospace industries, which industries now support over 90% of Napier's revenue. The aerospace depainting industry alone represents hundreds of millions of dollars spent annually an depainting aircraft. Management would like to thank the companies in each of these industries for assisting in the development of these new product lines by supplying samples and testing information.
