Jeff, more info on the NEC deal

The paper says that the facility will most likely be dedicated to manufacturing 256MB chips. The expansion is estimated to be $1 Billion.

It is a very big deal here. They're supposed to have a press conference with the Governor of California on Monday to announce it.

This makes sense. While there might be a "glut" of lower end chips, the manufacturers are all ramping up to make more sophisticated chips as there is a shortage of those (aka DEMAND).

While this won't help our Rambus on Monday, in the longer term, it will. There is a huge demand for Rambus technology.

The proof's in the pudding.
