Bill: This car is not a spider. It is a 4 door made... to look like a 2 door! The trick is that the door latch (I guess that is the name) has been incorporated into the window frame (lower left corner) so when you look at the side of the car you only see the door latch of the front door. The car's interior is also very elegant. Size wise it's a "european" mid-sized car. What flips me over is that italian design DARES! These people are bold, with exquisite taste, sovereign in their design opinion and it shows. Compare the Miata, roadster, boxster and the FIAT Barchetta. The Miata is very classic in its look, it's cute, design wise no risk taking at all. The BMW Z3 has that old fashion but new look. The porsche has that porsche look..but a bit different. The barchetta is like... "hey!! were did you come from". Given other, non design criteria, I guess one gives his vote to the germans. Sorry if I have been rambling too much.
