Chris, I get the feeling that we are talking here about hallowed ground; like the sacred stuff that spreads across the 'desert dirt' temples. This is an alchemists grind; though we have gold it is an enchantment that seems to make it a potential mine. And for those with a taste for the past we even have the ghosts of inca warriors wandering dusty realms, being challenged by investors in conquistador armor and swords beaten out of 'true and reliable' statements. And how many will find the quest ends in the forgotten death valleys of Zothique, not in the palaces of gold and silver that a taste of greed can conjure up? We see the TRUTH in a half page of calculations, the wonders of Byzantium will pale against the powers that rise from this new source of wealth; yet the market sits tight, skeptical, even bemused as people who have never even seen a mine, bothered to contemplate its economics, plan pilgrimages to some damned land in the foothills of the Andes. I will no doubt be tarred for this sacrilege. The priests of the new religion have already formulated dogma and set rules of sacrifice. Heretics such as us will quickly be banished from the halls of golden splendor. But I believe the the Market gods are with us. And is it not the case that we have seen our share of the the horrors of the Necromancers, paid our own price for bowing to the golden calf? Read a few of the last posts, somewhere back there one began mentioning granulating of gold.....nuggeting perhaps.....Ohhhh Chris....it is not....not the....DREADED NUGGET EFFECT IS IT? ALREADY??? For those wishing the hear a tale of another expert with a funny name you should review the history of Pacific Rim. Another case where 'certified' experts made some surprising claims. The moral there was that the penalty for expert mind changing is nil. Others get the bitter end of the stick as that's not a part of the consulting fee... Or go back and look at Paramount's Eureka...years ago....where gold stretched across the plains......still does for that matter.... regards, mnmuench
