FT, pay them double, TRIPLE, even 10 TIMES as much as they get now, but only let them meet for 4 weeks out of the year. Or limit the number of laws they can pass. I heard recently that there is some country which pays their legislators the average salary of CEOs of major companies, the idea being that if they are well paid, they won't need graft. Since all of our legislators retire with much more than they could have made on their salaries, they must have some other sources of income, or be very astute investors, or rich to start with. Jack
