I use a Mac too. If you have Microsoft Word, open the application, go to File Open, select the .bin version of the document (the 2nd one sent) and just click Open. Word will open and auto-convert it for you.

No need to use StuffIt.

I had to "select" some of the text and widen the paragraphs to read it better, so you'll probably have to do the same.
