It Was This Same Alarmist Noise That Created The Last Great Buying Opportunity (07/25/96) "Computer sales were going to slow down - Ask Mr Dell About The Last Two Year Slowdown :-) Rioting in SEA Is Noise - With Their Corrupt System They Should Riot! Nuclear Tests Are Noise - Bottomline They Need To Worry About Us Not Vice Versa I Think This Thread Should Get Back To Its Purpose :In A Small Way Here Is My Spin: Vgy- MACD Negative More Shorterm Down -Stochastics Oversold Intermed Term Turnaround Due Soon Vix--x - Macd turned positive friday -shorterm up stochastics broke up wed shorterm up T2111 Per Cent Stocks Above 200 ave of 2 Std Dev Trade Channel bottomed out thursday and possible reversal occurred friday-shorterm positive T2107 Per Cent Of Stocks Trading Over 200 Mov Ave -Bottomed Wed and Had A NIce Positive Divergence Thursday With Excellent Followthru Friday Shorterm Positive T2100 Advance Decline Line - Bottomed very oversold Thursday And Diverged to the Positive Friday Shorterm Positive MACD Still Negative Needs More Time (2days to 1 week ?) This Scenario Fits Nicely With E.W.rs(I Have No Knwoledge or Training But I Do Try To Study There Amazing forecasts and unbelievable ability to change reads on a dime) Also Saw Jerry Favors - He Thinks Market Is Ok And Showing Generally Sighns Of Being Oversold Oversold Is My Cue For Buy On The Dips ! And Block Out All The Superfulous Noise! KNOW What YOU KNOW And BUY THE DIPS WITH CONFIDENCE.(I Might Add I'M Buying Oversold Tech Stocks Very Close To Book Value Adex Or Asyt Watching and hoping for a shakeout on Cohu or Nvls. This Sector Is A True Value Play And The Longer It Quietly Stays Down The Better.(To Maximize The Accumulation Into Strong Ownership) I Just Think That Somewhere In the June to Sept Time Period This Sector Will Bottom In Harmony (same time for all lows )And Talk About Intel Losing Its Magic Will Be A Big Part Of It.It Was In july of 96(Last Great Buy Zone For INTC). As For Shorting G.M. - I'm Way Too Close To Judge That.My Dealership Just Closed Out Our Best New Vehicle Sales Month In Our 57 Year History! In The Last Two Months Chevrolet Has Sold More New Trucks Than Any Month In It's History (Back To Back April and May). June Was Our Best Ever - So I Expect a Threepeat For The Factory. Our New Truck Is Being Built As We Speak In Canada And It Will Be A Great Engineering Improvement As Well As A Fresh New Style( For The Largest Core Product We Have). In Short Fundamentally If The New Product Transition Goes Well I Wouldn't Short It - I'd Buy It. Not To Mention The Consolidation Going On With Chrysler And Mercedes Sorry For The Wordy Response. BUY THE DIPS and BELIEVE IN OUR SYSTEM ITS THE BIGGEST FAIREST PILE OF CAPITAL IN THE NEW GLOBAL WORLD !
