i'm running an agp matrox millenium 2 12mg connected to my 21" monitor and a pci matrox millenium 2 8mg connected to my 17" monitor. the 17" is the primary display and the 21" is the secondary.

i tried installing the agp first and configuring win98, then installing the pci, but the pci then became the primary. I
think the pci video gets scanned first before agp, dunno, this is the only way i could dual monitors to work with agp/pci and win98.

What's the latest on multi monitor support? Bought a Compaq 5635 have one PCI slot free. Wondering if the Rage pro LT AGP card is compatible and if i can install another card to support two monitors or if I have to install 2 new cards? What is a cheap PCI card with great 2D graphics and is recommended?

Also will the PCI card default to the primary on boot and will the AGP work after.

Tried once with a Win 95 PNP Phantom 3D card and could not get the AGP card to work.
