You should check into a program called "Post-It Software Notes". It lets you put sticky notes on your computer screen instead of all over your desk. Great program.

"Create a place to take private notes, with edit capacity, hooked to each stock thread? It really helps me to be able to remember who recommended a specific stock, what my original strategy was on it, what investment guru got me interested in it, etc."

"Maybe it could say "Private Notes", and be located just to the left of "Bookmark This Subject." Alternatively, it could be a space below the narrative thread description (although some of these are already very long). "

Christine, A very interesting idea!

It's hard to remember all the key facts on each of the many discussion threads I read. Perhaps the notes area could have some standard fields added like - BUY at $$$$$, SELL at $$$$$. Also, an area to paste critical links, from within or outside of SI, that are relevant to the company being followed.

These ideas probably just tripled SI's hardware requirements though.
