Brothers Berney, Gersh, DJ, MG, Jury et al ... things 'seem' to be going to heck in a handbasket.

MG moving to Houston permanently?! Unbelieveable!! You forgot to mention the smoke in Houston from the fires in Mexico, (take heart, I think they aren't permanent, and are now under control). Hotter than Hades here at the moment. It seems that the jet stream shifted North since we haven't gotten much rain for quite a while.
I know what you mean about the move from Euro to here. Having spent almost 5 years living in Kaiserslautern, and traveling all over during that time, the only thing I can say is that at least you are going to a city. When I returned in 84, I was sent to a place in the country (no choice in the service -- heheh).

Fellows, I just wanted to check in, say hello, and let you know my positions: INTC at 71 7/16, KLAC at 34 11/16, and DELL at 84 as of Friday. I've got about 2/3 of my cash in those positions, and the rest is waiting for a correction.

When is the time to buy hi tech companies? Some people never do since they wait for the time when such a stock is cut in half. Some are perfect timers, calling the bottoms within 1/8 of a point, and then riding up 20 pts. Others have a shotgun approach, and buy when things are misreable, and sell when things look absolutely perfect in the future, capturing 60% of the movement over a period of time.

I love MG's view (a correct one that you don't find in the John Wayne movies) of the old West. There was a reason that they wore chaps at that time, and it wasn't for the aesthetic value.

So, for all the old cowboys here (in reality and in spirit), here is another one of those quotes:

Makin' it in life is kinda
like bustin' broncs:
you're gonna get
thrown a lot.
The simple secret
is to keep gettin'
back on.

Best regards to all,

it (just plain old it).
