Pheonix, While ASND's fundamentals were intact when it took the plunge, I'm not sure that COMS's fundamentals are intact. COMS may make a short pop up when the netwrokers rebound, but I wouldn't expect it to do well for the long run. CSCO, and to a small extent ASND, are kicking COMS's butt big time. Although CSCO is expensive, what about LEAPS on CSCO -- or LEAPS on ASND for that matter. The lower strike-price LEAPS will tend to gain almost point for point withe the stock, and you drastically increase your profit/loss over that of the stock. For myself, I stick to companies that have excellent revenue/earnings growth over the long-haul, in networking, those include ASND, CSCO, and some smaller ones like MRVC, XYLN, and PAIR. Good luck. Cheers

Hello Pheonix,

Good to see you back. Sorry you got out a little early. How was your trip to the states? As you may know, I am strictly a fundamentalist, so my recommendation is to evaluate the fundamentals vs. share price rather than consider any similarity to previous SI ASND sentiment.

Cheers.

G. W.

IMHO, COMS has deep fundamental problems. ASP and margins under serious pressure. The new products of which I am aware are still commodities, and are unlikely to help much. The inventory issue is not as material, but is also worrisome. I would put my money elsewhere.
