fact correction to my post.

"Intel said it told computer-maker customers that it will delay
volume production of the microprocessor -- the brain chips of
computers -- to mid-2000 from the end of 1999."

(I had said six month delay from fall of 1998 - only off by one year -g-)

I'm still of the opinion that it is unwise to take new long positions in any stock. Whether it be INTC or DELL or anything else.

I just don't think the environment is correct for the risk. The market is progressively making what appears to be a stairstep decline so why jump in to catch a falling knife, just my opinion.
