Lisa,

*Betting and other sins*

I have a bet if the line moves over 8, then I bet on the Pacers to cover.

Line was 8 this AM.. will bet if it goes to 8 1/2 or 9..

I love the action and I might be chasing to make up for the other day...

I think the shaved dome is better for the dutchman, what a doofis... he needs to be relieved from being whacked by the ugly stick..

Chris Mullin has TOTALLY gone to the shadows this playoff time, how interesting the way that the post season is soo much different than the regular season!

Blame America? Well why not.. While everyone is looking at Pakistan exploding some fire crackers, the real ememy hides and infiltrates the world. And what is even more amazing is the fact that Americans dont even consider the Chinese a threat and this after the cold war with the Russians where most americans were paranoid about communists to the point of even deniying the constitution and basic human rights to those even in the American Communists Parties. American $$$'s buy a lot of things except Respect in return. And a lot of so called Americans wonder why...

Pakistan has tested Chinese nuclear devices to square it off with India. Nervous as ever, declares state of emergency within the country and thanks China for "every thing". Pakistan has exploded all
fission devices and need not wait for recording test results since the devices were well tested by the Chinese earlier.

Some interesting facts :

China has not provided Pakistan any technology on fusion / thermo-nuclear technology. Pakistan is nervous because it is not sure how far the Chinese will go in providing technology if there is a nuclear arms race. Pakistan has the Ghauri missile which is an older Chinese built intermediate range missile. However, the guidance system is obsolete and without a thermo-nuclear device on it, it may not be a strong deterrent. However, it has decided to load fission bombs on Ghauri. Pakistan's economy will be badly affected by the sanctions and its conventional military will be the biggest loser.

US Congress bans export of Missile technology to China

If Chinese Military (PLA) could penetrate US presidential election to this extent, what have they done in India? The current BJP Government, in India, is extremely anti-communist and Chinese money can cause all kinds of problem for them.

ABC News reports : Full report
"The world's largest army now stands guard over its own sprawling business empire, which pours billions of dollars into its pockets each year... China's soldiers of fortune lay claim to a corporate empire of more than 15,000 business enterprises and 50,000 factories. They operate shipping lines, financial brokerage houses, real estate firms, factories, telephone companies, restaurants and toy companies. PLA firms even trade stock in the financial centers of Hong Kong, London and Toronto. Civilian production now dominates 70 percent of the Chinese military's manufacturing base and at least 1 million troops have been assigned to commerce, according to military analysts. The military then shovels its profits back into feeding troops, modernizing aggressive military capabilities and strengthening ambitions for regional supremacy, according to those who
watch the army's expanding economic reach.

"If there's money to be made, the PLA's there," says James Mulvenon, a
Chinese military analyst with the RAND Corporation. "We're talking about doubling their defense budget through civilian earnings."
Others say the payoff is even larger. While China pegs its official military funding at $7 billion, money from the PLA's cash register easily raises $25 billion or more a year, according to the International Institute for Strategic Affairs in London. "

Chinese Military has direct control over some Marxist factions aligned to Left Front in India. In addition, nobody knows how much influence they have on business, industry, media and Indian military.

BJP and India must look beyond Pakistan for now and concentrate in finding the real influence of People's Liberation Army's on Indian infrastructure. While Defense Minister of India, George Fernandes is focusing on the external threat from China, there can be extreme internal threat that can destroy India internally. India's home minister, Mr. Advani, should look into Chinese Military influence
in the North-eastern states of India including border state West Bengal where the communist Government rules without any significant opposition.

It is a possibility that Chinese Military establishment under estimated India for a long time. But in the wake of recent nuclear tests, India got China's attention. China may now try the same tactics they have played in US.

The current Government will have to act as a watchdog internally and externally.

>>has all that mortgage paperwork killed you off???

Not quite, but close; between mortgage applications, home inspections, sale of my house in CA, arranging for movers and on and on--it has been difficult to maintain my sanity at times. But everything is on track and what now remains seems to be a formality.

>>are you still on the sell signal

Yes--the original sell signal from the 1115 level on the futures is still in effect. The stop for Monday has moved closer and we could see a buy signal or a continuation sell signal(the second one since the original sell signal) with any significant momentum in either direction.

Hope that you are doing well
