Kirk: I think we are saying essentially the same thing. It's really a matter of each individuals interpretation of the market's current risk/reward. The mere mention of a decline to a more typical 8-10% average return will prompt more active investors to rethink their current asset allocation. Those who do not follow the markets as closely, are looking for the decision to be made for them with a clear cut sell recommendation. Though I may be wrong, in this way Mr. Brinker may be able to phase various groups of investors out of the market while having minimal effect on prices. Whether or not that's what is happening now I don't know. Just a hunch on my part. As far as INTC, yes, odds are we'll see a gap down on the open. Normally I'd be a buyer on such a move but not given current market conditions. I don't think we've reached bottom quite yet and the NASD big caps have not been rebounding like they used to. Best of luck should you take the trade.
