Kurt,
I was told, by MIDL company spokes person, that it was against SEC rules for a company to "automatically" convert shares. I was also told that they (MIDL) had looked this issue up in their bylaws and that the case was that the individual owning the stock had the option to convert or not to convert as many or few issues as they wanted on the specified date. MIDLP's being 10/1/98..
