OT, Ba-Bee

I realized I mis-spoke too late. We quit after 15 so I was only 11 under net on my own ball.

Still good enough, against a father-son team whose M.O. was for the old man to hit mid-green and for the son to throw lawn darts at the pin. These guys were hitting irons on their second shot into par 5s. I thought it was going to be ugly...they always bring my game up a notch. It would have been the first time all year I would have shot in the 70s had we finished. I was keeping up with the kid after awhile....on one 350 par 4 he was less than 100 out and I was a yard behind him. I think that started to bother him. They are also members at a much longer course in Wayne, NJ, that hosts a Senior Tour event so they are accustomed to tricky greens and big carries.

A 32 team tournament, prize money is only a few hundred dollars for first and second, plus first gets a trophy and the player names on the wall. We are in the final 8.
