It's a shame when you stop to think of all the things one could do with the financial gains incurred when there were only one or two stocks and everyone was on the same track. It seems to me the goal, whether long or short term, is to make money. It shouldn't make difference which route one chooses, the end result is financial gain. right? If I make have a ten bagger in 2 days or 2 years, it's still a 10 bagger. Aside from the tax effect, the rest is making money. I don't think Rande was referring to LT holds. Each stock that he mentioned were momo's with good news and many people all following the same dollars. The will always be someone who buys too high, whether its INTEL or a bb. That's the nature of a market. But to say American individualism, cost us money, now that's unamerican! <ggg>
Perhaps it's human nature to kill the goose....
