Celeron sells at about $75 dollars is excellent news for DELL longs. To be sure Michael Dell knew ahead of Friday's announcement that Merced would be delayed, DELL is a major INTC customer. Now DELL should be going after the sub-1000 PC market as Celeron hits the ground. With a 5-day bto model and no inventory or channels, DELL could dominate this segment too. If I were Michael Dell, I certainly would with the delay in Merced ... take no prisoners in business.

Even if the sub-1000 PC market segment is not huge, DELL's profit margin is huge for now.
