Thanks for checking with Best Buy, but I still can't believe it. I hope that I'm wrong.

Hmmm. GX180 performed like a Pentium 133, so maybe a GX266 would perform about as good as a Pentium 200, which is about where the Celeron 266 performs in business apps. But, the Celeron will have much better game performance due to its good FPU and the GX's bad FPU.

Also, if they really have GX266 out today, maybe we won't have to wait until Q4 for the GX300. But, based on all the press releases, its got to be an MII 266; with they guy you talked to having his head up his ass like any good Best Buy computer salesman.
