Jane,

Sam was quoting Philippians 2. He can not even quote correctly which makes his supposed expertise quite a laugh. I even corrected him about this once but since he only cuts and pastes web sites he does not know the difference. I doubt he has ever had an original thought about God, rather he relies on the Devil of Hell for his sources. He really is a scarry old man whom I doubt anyone takes seriously. If anyone thinks he has a clue they should look at the sloppy way he presents the lies of Satan.

How ironic that the scripture he sites so clearly mocks him and all his posts. The scripture he reproduces also gives a great contrast between the God he claims to be, and the humble God who created him. His pride in his own sloppy ignorance is really quite funny.

1 Cor. 13(1-8)

IF I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away

I guess you ought to know about Satan. Sorry to say I did away with imaginary playmates around 3 yrs of age.

You still get it bass-ackwards. The soul doesn,t need saving
but your Ego sure does. Never fear, in spite of your beliefs you will reunite with your source of existence. Call it Jesus, call it God or Call it Devil. I think you need to pick a name without a personality. Spirit matter has no name. It just is. I am that I am. I will be what I will to be. Period.

Such kind thoughts.

If you want to know more of Paul; "If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing."

Maybe studying the meaning of Paul's words will teach you to get rid of your self and surrender to Paul's nothing. My soul just refuses to play hide & seek.

Lao Tzu and Chuang Tzu

(Translation and c Gia-Fu Feng)

The way (Tao) that can be spoken of
Is not the constant way (Eternal Tao);
The name that can be named
Is not the constant name.
The nameless was the beginning of heaven and earth;
The named was the mother of the myriad creatures.
Hence always rid yourself of desires in order to observe Its secrets;
But always allow yourself to have desires in order to observe Its manifestations.
These two are the same
But diverge in name as they issue forth.
Being the same they are called mysteries,
Mystery upon mystery--
The gateway of the manifold secrets.

Lao Tzu
