z, nope. i've been playing mu down for quite a while as their future has stunk for quite a while now. however, i do feel bad for anybody that has trusted mu management b/c they are slime and make misleading investors a major part of their management philosophy. sure, misleading can be profitable and same may say that is what they should do and call it good. i disagree.

as for being the low cost producer, please cite your source. i highly doubt korean and japanese mftrs are giving tours to the competition, if you know what i mean. sure, mu spouts this low cost producer crap over and over and never cites a source. since they have no problem misleading people for their own personal benefit i don't trust them as a source. you didn't cite a source either. nobody has. ever. imagine that ;-)

i understand toshiba and others are at .18 micron for some of their processes. even if they have fewer masks i'm not sure their costs are less. dumping doesn't include depreciation as i understand it. just gross cost.

please do one thing after this q's report. look at their balance sheet, look at how much cash exited the business and then tell everyone, iyho, how many qs mu can lose this much cash flow before they are out.

btw, every time mu files dumping they come up empty. is that b/c they overestimate their competitors cost to their own self serving advantage? nah, not the boise bandits ;-)
