<<(I assume this great analyst would NOT have issued
a buy signal for KTEL and a price target of $100, right?
But, memories are short, aren't they?)>>

I had nothing to do with KTEL.

Now it appears that the PC makers, led by GTW, are trying to muscle into the ISP and "portal" businesses. I'm sure they will partner with the existing companies. But that is another piece of the pie that will have to be cut up.

CM,SEEK will I'm sure come awfully close to break even if not a bit on the plus side this qtr.I believe that by the end of the 3rd we will surely by all accounts be above profitability, given any writedowns or
mergers. This should be of interest,I read that while the female population is the number 1 retail internet shopper segment of all time
and SEEK has of course the #1 Womens retailer on the net,Men will more often use a SE thought to have a better then average chance of pulling the right answer the first time out,not one of the 10,000 that usually comes up.I believe that means that most of the more inteligent net surfers use SEEK cause the spam is so bad that it makes it impossible to use the rest. The other interesting if not totally in tune with seek is the DT and german Deals. These kind of people know what they want know what they can have and also know that when your shopping many is good but execelence is the key to putting sales in the bank.Another words SEEK fits the highest quality standards for a culture that holds quality in high regard.

Yeah, When YHOO Showed A Profit...

Boy, it really tanked, didn't it?

Let's review today's "information." SEEK and other
Web supersites are too early like Commodore.
Have engendered too much of an irrational buying frenzy
a la biotech stocks. Would actually be harmed if it
posts a profit. Oh, yeah and SEEK's a whatever-tier
portal. Then, there's the bit about SEEK losing eyeballs
'cause it didn't pay to play with NSCP.

Somehow, all the facts about SEEK's growing revenues,
increasing global presence, award-winning Ultraseek
server product, continued dealings with NSCP (though
just a temporary fix), new deals with iVillage for
expanded Women's programming, and purchase of WBS
eyeballs... and on... and on... Those don't matter,
of course. Nor does the fact that SEEK has excellent
senior management. And, FWIW, I guess Zack's rating
is just some sort of conspiracy of investment bankers,
etc.

Well, as a LONG, I admit to my prejudice...

Best Regards,

c m
