Yes. In fact, DELL didn't even come public until 1988.

It was the early investors in the PC craze that got burned by holding on as the hype subsided. The ones who made real money waited for the hype to die down and the true winners to break away from the pack.

SEEK is a third tier "portal" company. That simply doesn't bode well for its future. Hell, they just lost a bunch of their "hits" after refusing to pay the ridiculous ransom NSCP was asking.
