The PII-233 idea sounds very wise.

BTW, what is the worst thing that over-clocking can cause and how often does that happen?

There does seem to be a lot of disagreement on on the subject - but with Intel's price structure on PII chips, it seems well worth the risk to a under-$200 cpu to over-clock strongly.

Is Tom's Hardware really an 'over-clocker site'? Sound like a cult or something. Are the facts stated there incorrect or incomplete?
