I don't really want to get into the middle of this, but I find it interesting that you refute market academians with observational and historical evidence and then stand behind the academics in asserting that a bumblebee cannot fly when I have plenty of direct observational evidence, as I'm sure you do, that they DO fly. If they're not flying, then what are they doing? Levitating?

Is this fun or what?

Rich

Okay Eddie, try this on for size. I checked the past year's data from S&P Statistical Reports and here's what I found: Measured from the previous day's close there were 31 out of 51 up days on Monday. Measured from the previous day's close there were 30 out of 52 up days on Friday. In other words, during the past year there was no difference is the percentage of up days for Monday compared to Friday. As for the day before holidays, there were 4 up days and 4 down days.
