Mike I think American BioMed's time has come. Although it's impossible not to look at a company's past when judging the future sometimes it's a mistake. A recent slide in the stock from over a dollar represents a definite buying opportunity. Fundamentals have improved dramatically. Lets look at just some of the things that have been announced since the first of the year. Just off the top of my head I can think of the following:

ISO 9001 Certification and the company's first OEM deal

FDA approval of the Ahn Thrombectomy Catheter

Two quarters in a row of improved revenues year over year

Completion of a strong North American distribution network

Signing of additional overseas distributors

Resumption of phase II trials for the OmniCath atherectomy device with improved protocols in both Japan and the US.

American BioMed has received a $5 million equity line of credit

Please Michael do your own due diligence. I've spend so much time on this one I honestly feel like it is my company. There is lots of good information on this thread and the future looks much stronger today than at any other time in the past.

I feel American BioMed will either end up being acquired or sign one or more strategic partners this year. Even if that does not happen they have $5 million to help them commercialize their technology. ABMI could very easily find themselves profitable in 1999 if they are not acquired first. Now I hate to do this but I am so familiar with this company that I'm going to actually make a price prediction.

Short term I think the stock is a screaming buy. I would not sell it for less than three times this price.

It could get there in less than three months.
