Thanks Greg for correcting my optimism.
Wishfull thinking on my part on drilling in Lejano and Bacon.Irregardless this does not remove my enthusiasm for Yamana's prospects. To compare I have been looking at Silver Standards announcement on their Bowdens silver prospect. They are planning a feasibility study to mine a prospect with an indicated and inferred resource of 18 million tons grading 99 grams of silver per ton,0.37%zinc and 0.32 % lead.Preliminary work estimates capital costs of $50million (U.S) to mine.
The grades at Bowden are only a small fraction of the grades at Lejano and Bacon.
Yamana's current market capitalization based on 27million shares outstanding is $35 million Canadian dollars.
Silver Standards market cap based on 16million shares is $72 million Canadian dollars.Of course I do realize each companies prospects are difficult to evaluate properly but this is one method I use to make a calculated decision to invest and IMHO Yamana is the type of prospect that comes along only rarely in an investors lifetime and I am very confident that we will be richly rewarded in due time

Look forward to a great 1998 and 1999 for Yamana

Richard
