>> Is Westell still the supplier to Bell Atlantic? <<

BEL is starting with the DSC/WSTL CAP solution. Hopefully BEL will detail their plans at SuperComm next week.

>> What do you make of the LU/Westell connection? <<

Westell will provide it's solution on the 5ESS, SLC-5 and SCL-2000 platforms. The Multichannel article indicated that Lucent and Westell are working with different DSP vendors.

"The Lucent-Westell connection extends the integration effort to many other vendors, as well, including the digital-signal-processor suppliers that each is partnered with and parties to other alliances"

>> Who is Westell set to supply at this point? <<

GTE Gov. Srv, GTE-CLEC, BEL"DSC/WSTL", BT "Fujitsu/WSTL" , a number of telco's in Canada, etc.

>> Whatever happened with Bell Canada? <<

Westell won the phase I ADSL deployment. Phase II and the DSLAM contract went to Alcatel.... until later.
