When I place a limit order to buy between the bid/ask and it executes, I begin to worry! More often than not, it means the stock has topped and the bid will begin to drop. For a short time, it feels good to know that you've gotten the stock for less than the "advertised" price; however, many times it's a signal that the buying pressure is either very weak or non-existent.

Caveat emptor!
