Doug

If volume for the day does not approach very recent levels,

do you look at a certain period MA on the volume to get a recent figure to shot for. I have heard 9 day ma is a good one to use.

hmmmmmmmm,
david

shortstuff on doug

abn, aha, aldnf, alhy, alls, amhc, amtc, anrg, apco, aqm, asft, avrt, aw, aza, bar, bcgi, bdk, biox, bke, bus, clci, csno, csre, dte, duk, eaii, elgt, egpt, expo, ffgi, fisv, fnm, icgx, ktie, math, mcll, mton, ntki, onpt, plat, rlly, rntk, tfce

all of these are downtrend bo's or very near. this was for the 3day, i am outta here for tonite and will not have time to run the rest of the shortstuff indicators or my usual shortstuff list. as is stated volume will be a key.

the amazing part to me is that you do this without looking at the ta...only the chart.

since i didn't really eliminate that many, this will be the last time i do this! i think you set me up!!!lol

Ok, back to the list. This is the "volume watch" dreadnought list. The stocks on this list have short term chart stuff in them that may yield a trade on the long side for anywhere from 1 to 5 days starting any time this week. The beginning of a move up on aggressive volume is the trigger. Some may require a level of nimbleness.

ABE--retesting a breakout
ABN--recovery still holding
ABPCA--small ascending triangle
ACAI--only a quadruple since it was on the first post of the thread but it's still going strong
ACL--gathering steam
ACTC--sneaking up to the starting gate
ADMS--small ascending triangle
AEN--looks good for a safe 10% this week
AGP a PGDCEB signal on Tue. with a probable 10% left in it
AHAA--still looks like it wants to roll back up to 20 (listed as AHA last week)
AIM--before each move up it trades very thinly. It's thin now
AINN--possible launch in progress
AIPN--could be time for one of its quick, one day spikes
AK--may be primed
ALRS--just watch for volume and an uptick
ALSC--technical bounce time?
ALTN--just watch for volume and an uptick
AMEP--thinly traded, still has a shot
AMES volume critical for continuation
AMK--its first PGDCEB signal was on 5/28...no real movement yet
AMTC--hmmmm
AMWD--continued recovery poddible
AMZN--after 2:1 split I guess I'll bring it back to the list
ANEN--gathering steam
ANIK--behaving well, just watch for an uptick on volume
ANLT--behaving well, just watch for an uptick on volume
ANTC--in the process of defeating a head and shoulders top--this is a very bullish thing. watch it closely
APCO--bullish engulfing candle on Fri.
APMC--could be at the bottom of a rounded bottom
APOG--came through last Tue. when volume was critical
APSG--possibly gathering steam
ARCH--if this is a double bottom from 3/16, the heavy volume on the 2nd bottom is considered very bullish
ARGX--volume critical
ARLCF--long term chart very good. intermediate term is a minor cup with handle with an inverted head and shoulders in the handle
ARS--just watch for volume and an uptick
ART--bullish engulfing candle
ARTL--low volume, second time on the list
ASGR--hmmm
ASI is doing what the indexes need to do to avoid Jerry Favors' market top scenario
AT--gathering steam
ATI--could go on a quick tear to a blowoff
BID--watch for volume and a couple upticks
BKE--broke above a double top, might retest then resume
BLDG--same as usual, maintaining well
BUS--triangle should reach an apex this week
CADE--just watch for volume
CAER--watch for a break over 15 on volume
CBS--showed some higher volume with no further decline last week (kind of like what I said FIBR was doing on 6/2) I think this will be a great overall chart do-dad to watch for over the course of this week.

OK, that's from half of the stocks I look at each weekend. Is that enough or should I finish looking at my base list?
