Hi Brooke, would you magicians on this thread be able to come up with a formula to calibrate the McClellan summation index in accordance
with the Miekka formula described at:

The spreadsheet version is described at:

I have MS 5.11, but 6.5 would be ok.

Thanks,

Vitas

Brooke, all

I am trying to convert data from TC2000 to metastock. what I am trying to do is get the S&P 500 data into metastock. I have data back to 1982 in the TC 2000 folder for the S&P but, for some reason the conversion only gives me the data back to 1994.

I followed the instructions in the Downloader manual to the best of my abilities.

what I have on the convert securities dialog window

File type: TC2000
Folder: C:\TC2000\Data\S
File name: Sp.500.ndx

Destination
File type: Metastock
Folder: c:\SI
file name: <nothing>

thanks for the help
david
