Don, Assuming there is such a thing as a good financial institution in this financial bubble. <G> I do not know water-Mellon in any detail, so I hate to pound the table. Let's just say that it is not on my ut list after falling so far and, if any bank makes a decent takeover target, it must. I still think BONY-Mellon sounded cool. Maybe First Union will take it over and we can try FU-Mellon. <G> BTW, the one thing I do know is Mellon's investment side, and they are indexers ala Wells Fargo. I hate that, but it has made them a lot of money. MB
