Whenever DELL talks, its stock goes up 5 points a day. Last winter, DELL shares fell 25% mainly because DELL couldn't defend itself against shorts due to quiet period. This time around, no one can tape Michael's mouth.

Brief: What's wrong with Dell?... Ever since reporting better than expected earnings on strong revenue growth, the stock has been in a tailspin... Has the great ride come to an end?... In a word, no... Just as it did after its last big rally (Jan-Mar) the stock has simply succumbed to a modest bout of profit-taking... Though tough industry conditions generally, renewed concern over Asia and earnings season could keep stock on the defensive over the next week or two, additional losses should prove minimal... Stock normally pulls back between 15%-20% during corrective phases... Since peaking at 98 1/2, the stock is down 16.3%... For those investors willing to ride out some near-term volatility now might be a good time to do some bargain hunting in this industry leader.
