That's always a possibility, however remote. Exxon is not the only refiner out there. If Exxon says no then we move on to the next large refiner. It would be very important to know WHY Exxon didn't want DF-144 in your scenario.

I think it is more likely that more than one refiner will want DF-144 and we could have a bidding war. That's my fantasy at least.

It's important to realise that we do not need an Exxon. Their involvement would be great but we are in the process of building a refinery of our own with plans for at least 7 more. We can make a ton of money making and selling the product ourselves.
