More news!!!! Umax, last of the Mac cloners, will phase out production of its SuperMac line. Reason: Falling profits. In May the company dropped the price of its S900BASE system by $400. Click for full story. A revised imaging model is on the drawing board for Mac OS X and the cross-platform Yellow API. The model combines the imaging engines of QuickDraw and PostScript. PRODUCT PIPELINE The Gemini 112K modem due from Transend in August uses the V.90 56K standard and two data pumps to push speeds to 112K.
