Cabletron's acquisition of Yago not only makes sound technological sense, but also opens doors to both new customers and sales opportunities as end-users now can rely on Cabletron to satisfy nearly all of their routing, switching, remote access, and management needs.

With Yago, Cabletron no longer can be preempted for lack of a router piece in its product portfolio.

Offering solutions ranging from the small office/home office to the enterprise, Cabletron is becoming a formidable contender to Cisco, 3Com, and Bay.

Cabletron now is well-positioned to grab share from these other major networking vendors.

Look at the chart, Dave. It's been floundering in the "looks cheap" range for months waiting for the market to take it down to record lows (achieved today, I think). In other aspects
I can't make up my mind yet, but chartwise it sucks, like
most anything else.
