To penni from Thomas, in an old church with a computer demonstration somewhere on the Oude Zijde, Amsterdam -- CW bears a remarkable resemblance to me as a teen. I was so well adjusted that I bored myself. To my infinite disappointment I was never even suspended, never even got close. I really did try.

Well, back to the grind in another three days -- but in the meantime, Amsterdam is its wild and wooly self. Although more commercial than I remember.

Hi miss penni, I too have noticed that recently coaches are more religious. Do you have any ideas about why that is? And I have never seen a teacher that was openly religious that wasn't a Christian. Has anybody ever seen an openly Moslem teacher? Aren't they about 7% of our population now? Are school boards deliberately not hiring people of other faiths? What do you think parents would do if a teacher led his or her class in a Moslem prayer?

Please understand miss penni that I am not being hostile here. I would like to see discussion about this as our congress is considering a constitutional amendment allowing voluntary (?. I think the correct word should be coerced) prayer in public places.
