This shows both to be 266 mediaGX. Somebody is wrong, but at least NEC is using cyrix.

Jeff,

I believe the thin client market could be huge for Cyrix. The MXi will have integrated ethernet. Such a strong commitment by Wyse will make other terminal makers sit up and take notice. The Wyse approach has a chance of beating out the Citrix approach. I wouldn't mind seeing a Xeon in a server, if it were connected to 100 Cyrix based thin client terminals.

Pravin.

Jeff,

This will be really big news when NT 5.0 hits market sometime next year. Intel can sell 4 CPU's into the server and Cyrix can sell 20 MediaGXs into the clients and we can all live happily ever after with AMD supplying CPU for the full-blown desktop PCs.

No more fighting, just an agreement to divy up the market in an amicable way ;-)

Steve

AS IF!
