There is more than one way to get you to dump your stock.

Consider, Hypothetically

MM shorts 1 million shares at say .50

If he thinks it might got to 2.00 dollars then they are out 1.5 million if no one sells.

If they can get you to sell at 1.00 then they are only out 500K

Managing yor losses is a big part of making profit
