I assume you mean CALLS, right? Because if the merger doesn't go through...DEC will TANK.

Robin: There is a great chance that this vote will pass. CPQ management are smart people. I guess they hired this telemarketing firm that is calling people on behalf of "DEC's BOD" to ensure that it does pass. Plus, as I recall majority of DEC shareholders are big institutions who will vote for the deal.

As for whether or not we got a good deal, it all depends. The tech. sector is now in a big down trend and I am afraid it will continue for a while. Add to that the fact that market as measured by the "Dow" is
still pretty high and a sharp drop will take the good, bad, and ugly with it. Let's hope that CPQ stays above $24 support and let's hope once the merger is completed we see some upgrades from the street.

So far I am impressed with the way CPQ is managing this transaction and I feel this management is better equipped to reward us long term than Mr. Palmer & Co.
